About The Clockmakers
A Ska Rocksteady- and Soul-influenced band funded in 2013 by Melanie on vocals and trombone. Her musical compositions and lyrics are inspired by the 60s. She is surrounded by a rhythm section full of energy, a trumpet and baritone saxophone tandem and a keyboard. Those 7 artists are united to create a sound both retro and modern with a tinge of Rock’n’roll.
They shared the stage with many Jamaican artists. After a first record released in 2015, and several vinyl records, the band released the album «Good News» in June 2019. The album « Bringing the Sun » was released in late 2023.
