Such a great show! The band was awesome, playing the major hits. It's only sad that was a short show - 1 hour only - as they were just opening for Journey.

As always the building sounds terrible for shows like this..but toto did give it their all...the following act was way worse sound wise,too loud for the venue..shame on the sound crew for allowing that to happen..we sat towards the back and echo was ridiculous! Unfortunate because the band played their ass off...

Amazing concert! Would of loved songs like Make Believe but they sounded amazing and brought all of the energy before my favorite band Journey!

Not all the original members were there , but Steve Lukather , and the other members made it well done 👍🏽

Sound wasn't great and we had good seats. Voices were overpowered by bass, bass and more bass.

Uptown Theater is my favorite venue here in Kansas City. It’s a very pretty theater. I prefer small, intimate venues over large ones. This was my first time seeing Toto. They were awesome! Strong vocals and great musicians. They’ve been around a long time and they still have what it takes to perform live. Loved it!!

The band was in good voice and chose plenty of crowd-pleasing tunes. Really enjoyed new keyboard player and arrangements. Instruments tended to crowd out vocals in the mix at the back of the house.

The State theater is an excellent venue. A li vely and loyale crowd was exuberantly treated to the best Toto had to offer. The sound was fantastic. And the set list was unexpected, yet a real treat for the long time fans of the band. As for the current members, each player best represents the well documented level of talent the band has been known for. This includes the vocalists. The current drummer, former Snarky Puppy member Robert Sput Searight does an incredible job in the absence of the few legendary drummers the have gone before him.

Both TOTO & Journey were fantastic! Probably as much fun as I’ve had at a concert! They played the hits, but also played some deeper cuts too! 😎🤗🤪😉

Amazing concert the whole way through. 10cc did an incredible performance with lots of variety, hard to imagine them being so old but still having so much energy on stage. Same goes for Toto just on another level. So much feeling the whole concert

Great concert and venue. The weather was perfect and the sound was the best I’ve ever heard on an outdoor scene.

Journey/Toto: 4/28/22 Classic arena rock driven by dual guitar heroes! In a 6 concert in 9 day run I must admit I was the least excited about Journey and sprung for the ticket with Toto alone in mind. I had seen Journey in the best of times 1983 with Perry, and again with Arnel (2008) which I felt was a rather flat performance. You know it’s hard to step away from a bad mentality, ‘No Perry, no Journey’ but I’ve since changed that up to: ‘Know Perry, know Journey!’ If it hadn’t been for him surely I wouldn’t have gone backwards prior to his arrival to hear some great songs and stayed faithful till today. Arnel now with the band 15 years has clearly established himself as a vital member, the 54 year old hitting all the notes and with the stage presence and energy of someone half his age. ‘SHARR-LOTT I wonna hear you scream’, he cried out! But Schon is clearly the leader of the band holding it all together with his classic fast-pick guitar work going back long before the hammer and tap took over main stream rock and exhibiting such in his solos especially the one leading up to Wheel In The Sky. You also wouldn’t know that he’s 68 and Cain 72 respectively. Cain with his big red hybrid grand piano was particularly audience friendly, ‘Let’s sing this one out as a prayer to help them out of harm’s way’ (i.e. our Military) on his intro to Faithfully. And who is the man behind the drum kit?!!! Deen Castronovo is back in the line-up singing lead on Mother Father, sounding astonishingly like Perry, who knew. I was a bit disappointed that they had cut out Escape and Girl Can’t Help It in lieu of Suzanne, but they can’t do them all. Journey has all the bells and whistles with the super-large video screen and a 4-tiered lighting rig, but somewhat needs to be said about Toto billed as Journey’s ‘Very Special Guest’ which typically a shorter set and NOT a ‘double bill’. A huge backdrop the ToTo sword logo and 4 beacon light towers on stage greeted fans upon entry to the Spectrum in anticipation of the set. The set was a fine tuned exactly to the minute one hour set/10 songs. Steve Lukather (guitar since 1977) led along with David Paich (vocals 1977). The guitar work especially on I’ll Be Over You and White Sister was phenomenal (he is definitely an underrated hero), and the vocals were solid-on. I had wished they had included a few more hits and maybe left out a couple others, but again…. I would pay good money to see a full set by Toto, they are THAT good. I left the show energized for the long drive home, and I won’t (ever) stop believing in the power of Rock ’n Roll! by DAve (Concerts #642, 643)

I got to see 2 1/2 songs performed by Toto. Parking issues, no purses allowed issues. Those of us who do not frequent the Moda Center are not aware of all these issues. ** Another problem is someone was in our seats, I’m a handicap person who cannot stand for long because of a crumbling back. Toto is who I came to see, everything was horribly overpriced so only one item , a $5.25 cent bottle of water (the only size) Sooo .. probably won’t be back.

I've seen Toto many many times and this show was memorable and phenomenal, just like every other Toto performance! This was my 8th or 9th time seeing them and they NEVER fail to impress me! Toto always leaves it all on the stage making you wish they would play all night! That's the way I feel anyway - each and every time I've seen them! Last night they seemed to take it up another notch. How is that possible?? I don't know how they pulled that off, but they did!! Steve, Joe, and the band ... I can't wait to see you again! Hopefully soon!

first Toto concert for me. the guys were great! Great sound. Check one off my bucket list.

This concert was awesome. TOTO played all of their hits and most of the songs from their smash dvd of their 35 anniversary. Sound system was right on and Steve Lukather was on fire. Joesph Williams can make singing the phone book sound great.

As usual Toto did NOT disappoint. They played all of their hits and even dug deep into their catalog for some older songs. It was good to see original bass player David Hungate once again with the band as well. An amazing show!

If you ever get a chance to see Toto, DO IT!!!! They are phenomenal live!! They are a great, down to earth, group of guys too!! Pay extra for the VIP tickets, you won't be disappointed!!

Words can't descibe this band! Great songs from the past 35 years that are still relevant today. Ready to do it again!!!
