Twin Oaks

Twin Oaks is the Los Angeles based dream pop project founded by core members Lauren Brown and Aaron Domingo along with drummer and multi-instrumentalist Marilyn Beltran. Following up from their 2019 sophomore album ‘See You When I See You’, Twin Oaks returns with their upcoming DIY-released third full length ‘Strangers’. The band continues their collaboration with local artist and co-producer Shaun Oppedisano to further develop their focus towards more electronic and sample-based influences (akin to Massive Attack, Portishead, and The xx) around their moody, dream pop and post-rock contemporaries (echoing Daughter, PJ Harvey, and Sigur Rós). The album was primarily self-recorded at the band’s home studio and with engineer Mike Post (She & Him, Local Natives, The Wild Reeds) at MooseCat Studios in Los Angeles.

Twin Oaks have shared the stage with acts such as Mt. Joy, The Joy Formidable, NAVVI, Angelo De Augustine, flora cash, & Emma Ruth Rundle. ‘Strangers’ releases in Summer 2022.
