JUSTIN FREEMAN

Justin Freeman (born Justin Michael Freeman) is a lyricist from Lithonia, Georgia. He fell in love with Hip Hop at the age of 9, after seeing the movie "8 Mile". He empathized with Eminem's story and fell in love with his elite lyricism and soon decided to start making raps of his own. Over the years, Justin kept polishing his rap ability and became very talentedat rap, but didn't pursue it as a serious profession. In 2011, when Eminem, Yelawolf, and Slaughterhouse appeared on a BET cypher, everything changed. Not only did hearing their verses inspire Justin to take rap serious, but it also, motivated him to be the best to ever do it. Since, then he educated himself on the culture and made it his priority to be the best lyricist that he could be.
In 2016, Justin Freeman appeared on BET's Hip Hop rap competition show, "One Shot". The show was created by Crooked I and hosted by Sway Calloway. The purpose of the show, was to shine light on undiscovered Hip Hop talent and give them a platform to be heard. Justin beat out thousands of his peers and earned his spot in the top 3 of the series. In the end, Justin didn't win the finale, but his lyricism didn't go unnoticed and the show gave Justin lots of much needed publicity.
In May of 2017, Justin released a song titled "No Chill" that went viral and ended receiving over 4 million views on Facebook. The video lead to thousands of new fans and put Justin under the industry's radar. He's currently working on an EP and a Mixtape due to drop later in the year. His road has just started and Justin Freeman is ready to show the culture that he's here.
