GUS KARAS began his deejay career in Greektown, Chicago. He was quicklyrecognized by Chicago’s top nightclubs and became resident deejay at clubs like SHELTER, STARDUST, and ORIGINAL CROBAR. At the young age of 21, he opened the infamous CLUB XL AFTERHOURS. Following the CLUB XL’s 4 year run, Gus Karas was recognized nationwide and was offered residency at CROBAR MIAMI. After making the move to Miami, Gus also became resident at NIKKI BEACH &MANSION. He played at all of the hottest clubs throughout Miami with well-known deejays like ARMAND PENA, CEDRIC GERVAIS, LOUIS DEE, MR MAURICIO, DJ IRIE and OSCAR G.Following the closing of Crobar Miami for remodeling, Gus moved back to Chicago. That summer in 2006, he had the opportunity to travel all over the world and play in a variety of places such as Germany, Greece, Poland, Italy, Las Vegas, Hollywood, and New York. Once he was back in his hometown of Chicago, he decided to use all of the knowledge and experience to start his own promotion company, MADE IN CHICAGO. The company quickly became one of the top promotion companies in Chicago. Along with promoting the hottest nights in the city, Gus has deejayed at all the top clubs in Chicago like; YBAR, CRESCENDO, CUVEE, ENCLAVE, VLIVE, CROBAR, SPYBAR, SOUNDBAR, STONE LOTUS. Since 2006 until now, he continues to be requested back on a regular basis at these popular clubs.
