Big Country

Great sound. Took me back to the 80’s as a teenager hooked on it. They didn’t disappoint. Brilliant.

Another great night at the Old Fire Station. This time it was Big Country and the gave a superb night with some old favourites

Great to see Big Country again on this tour as the South - West was largely abandoned for the crossing in the previous year. Simon Houghs vocal were as good as I can remember. He has grown into this position well. Steeltown is a loud brash album and with all that noice it is possible to lose the tune of the lead guitar. That was the case on occasions. The Icicle works were a great support

Great sound system, and a terrific walk down memory lane. Unfortunate limited showing from opening act icicle works.

Great show - Indigo at the O2 is a very good venue - good views of the stage from the downstairs standing area - Big Country were full of energy - accomplished musicians - played lots of classic tunes and the complete Steeltown album - go see the tour if you can - you won’t regret it

It was a great gig. The band played for 1,5 hour. The band was fantastic on stage. I bought the ticket about 4 years ago. Due to covid, this concert was postponed several times. Now I could finally go to this concert. The venue small but great. The only negative was that the sound was a little bit too loud.

Wanted to see Spear of Destiny got a cover version Scouser. Other than that a good night. All the old classics. Vocals needed support of the crowd and they were more than happy to assist with that. See them again later in the year

Great show from the Big Country boys - made even better by such an iconic venue - Dingwalls - always wanted to go there

It was great to see them again after so many years and Bruce Watson has fun leading the group with Brezizcki deing his original partner in the line up. They played a short set with around ten songs. In the crowd there were a few of us able to sing a long knowing the lyrics and of the age to have enjoyed Big Country from the early 80s. They play wetland have fun so l am recommending taking the chance to see Big Country whenever you can!

First time I've seen them but my boyfriend has seen them a few times safe to say they got everyone smiling and bouncing the place was jumping everyone was jumping so hard I thought the floor was going to cave in look forward to seeing yous again sometime #rocknrollasbestplaceinpaisley

Big country don’t fail in anything they do and are always excellent. The venue was absolutely fantastic and up close and personal. Was a brilliant gig from the word go. Will look at this venue in future

Big Country for everyone up to the stage beside them. Danced in with the crowd. The Rezillos were actually far better and the sound quality from big country was terrible. Couldn't hear vocals or drums but when we were all up together it made up for it. Great atmosphere

Great energy, good vocals ; one trip to memory land !!! Was my 2nd big country show, the 1st one was in 1983 in Vredenburg Utrecht! Can you imagine how time flies? STAY ALIVE

After a patchy start due to them being one person short on guitar and attempting a sort of semi acoustic stance they soon changed tack, apologised and went for the full on Big Country sound which was great. Short set though, 90 mins and only one song encore. Reason probably that the lead singers voice was going due to a virus.

Stuart and Tony are irreplaceable.... But Simon, Jamie and Scott definitely maintain that Big Country energy! As good as ever!

Tremendous night! Loved that they played Ships - one of my all time faves. Great energy and some very slick guitar playing from Messrs Watson. Loved it!
