Charity Strike: Always giving your best shot, even if the reward is being handed to you Known for their eccentric personalities and rebellious behavior, Charity Strike continues to push the boundaries of dance music while taking their genre-defying sound and refined image to the next level. Growing up in houses full of professional entertainers, agents, and musicians alike, Mike Lisanti and Philip Scully were inevitably destined to follow the same path as their immediate family members and relatives. 2012 was a defining year for Charity Strike. After having met in April of 2012, Scully had decided to pursue audio engineering school at the Sound and Audio Engineering Institute in Los Angeles. At that same time, Mike was just graduating from University of California, Santa Barbara with an emphasis on Global Studies and Mandarin Chinese, moving back home to LA as well. Since then, Mike and Scully have been on a fast roll. In the short amount of time spent producing music together, Mike and Scully have pushed their unique sound out of LA, mastering their gritty take on the 'big room' and 'bounce' subgenres. It's proven to have been successful for the boys, having won three major remix contests, along with releasing music on Doorn Records, Revealed Recordings, Universal Music, Dim Mak Records, Cr2 Records, and more.
