The Rose Hill

Over the past six years, The Rose Hill has made significant strides to be a driving force in the local music scene as well as regional. They've traveled to over 13 different states, played major music festivals and have an expansive list of notable bands they've shared the stage with. This six piece is unlike any other Metal/Hardcore act, fronted by lead vocalist Bethany Durbin, they strive to be different and to write passionate, emotional music. Their breakdowns are hard hitting and unexpected. From an onlookers first impression, they take the stage and shock the crowd as soon as the first scream belts out. You can try to put them into the typical Metal-core bubble but they'll surprise you with fast punk beats, rock riffs, and soft vulnerability putting them in a genre all their own. They've released two full length albums (With All That I Am- 2010, Powerless- 2012) as well as a hit single called "Offender" in 2013. They spent three years signed onto Sancrosanct Records before parting ways and becoming a DIY group. They will release an EP early spring of 2014 with the promise "This won't be your average TRH."
