The show was awesome!!! I wish there was a meet and greet session. However, I did fortunately receive guitar picks from Josh Turner, Tracy Lawrence, and Dillon Carmichael. My brother and I had seats in the second row in the Front Orchestra section, which is directly in front of the stage. We had perfect views of the singers and had some interactions with the singers and bands, especially smiles and grins. Josh Turner is my favorite country and gospel singer of all time, but Tracy Lawrence and Dillon Carmichael are great country artists, as well! Overall, I had a fantastic first ever concert experience.

Josh turner was great! Only issue we had was with weather ending the show early as well as starting early. The notification of the show change was sent by email which I didn’t see until the next day. Think the show was moved up in time which we weren’t aware of and missed the opening acts as well as time to explore merch. Sad and disappointing but still a great show

The Josh turner show was absolutely amazing! He is such a great singer and so glad he came to Anderson! We saw him in Simpsonville and it poured at that concert in buckets! That was Also a free concert ! So we were blessed to see him again since the one in simpsonville he only played 3 songs if that before it rained! So thanks again for giving us that opportunity to see him again ! He enjoyed playing in Anderson too! Such A huge crowd! So awesome and again he sounded amazing!! Go JOSH and TY

The show was awesome! John Turner is a great singer and last night the music mix and vocals were perfect. You could HEAR and UNDERSTAND every word he sang. His songs are great and he just seems like someone you could sit down and have a normal conversation with. This is the third time I've seen him in the past two years. And I'll go again next time he's close by if at all possible! If you've never seen him in person, you've missed a great perfomer!

The only negatives were the opening acts. Neither act were anything like the headliner. Both acts were Pop Country style acts not true Country like Josh. The only shortfall I would point out to whomever programs the show, i.e. picking the songs etc, is that this is a strong military area and it would have been great to hear "Soldier's Gift" on the playlist.

Josh was great. He's funny, he's not pitchy like some live artists. This is my 3rd time seeing him and he's funny everytime. Tips for some concert-goers: 1. Don't turn on your light-up hat if no one else outside of your group is wearing one and they aren't selling them as merchandise. It's annoying and distracting in a dark theater. 2. Don't record the whole concert. Are you really gonna go back and watch a 1hr 21 min video zoomed in 8x that's shaky as c**p with not very good sound quality of a concert you've already seen? No. So record tiny bits and pieces if you want, even though I don't really love that either, I can't stop you. But the lady in front of me recorded the entire thing and it was so distracting and disrespectful in my opinion. Kinda ruined the experience for me. Just be present. 3. As a general rule , clap on 2&4, or some songs all 4 beats. Never 1&3 😂

Josh Turner did a fantastic job and his part of the show was great! The opening act was not very good. The problem was there was no where to sit! When we bought the tickets it never mentioned it was standing room only! The tickets sold were general admission with a picture of Boot Barn Hall with a dance floor, tables & chairs. The show was to start at 8 pm with the doors opening at 7 pm. Many people got there early hoping to get a table. Our group of 6 people felt very misled! Talking to many of the people around us, they felt the same way. We would not have bought tickets had we known we were going to stand around, packed in like sardines for 3 1/2 hours! There were tables and chairs upstairs for the sponsors, but you needed a VIP pass to go up there.

Josh Turner: 7/2/23 “It was my 3rd time seeing neotraditional Country singer/songwriter Josh Turner LIVE, all three times since I’ve relocated to South Carolina, two were free outdoor shows. The former time being at the very beginning of the pandemic, I had won free tickets and the full house was half masked and half not. This time it was a sultry Sunday evening as the ‘Long Black Train 20th Anniversary Tour’ launched in March and ending in November made its 25th stop at Celebrate Simpsonville. The weather was sunny and humid with temperatures in the low ninety’s at showtime. There was a chance of an isolated storm with very little concern that one would actually make its way down this far from the North Carolina border. CCNB Amphitheater and the grounds surrounding were absolutely packed more so than I’ve ever seen with an audience of 15,000 in the amphitheater itself and many others outside in attendance solely for the fireworks which were to occur afterwards. With nine studio albums yielding 17 charted singles including 4 number ones the evening was fast on track to be a goodun. Festivities began with a half hour / nine song acoustic set from Greenville SC’s Luke Ferguson, after which was a one hour / 15 song set from Greenville TN’s Dugger Band. It took until 8:30 to turn the stage for Josh Turner who was originally slated to go on at 8 p.m. meanwhile the sky had clouded up and weather alerts began trickling in on folks cell phones. I left my fifth row seat as the crowd began to push their way forward till I was pressed up against the front of the stage, my customary spot. At that point there was no turning back. The stage was illuminated brilliantly in red, white, and blue lighting including the large decorative facia high a top the stage framework with a massive stage height American flag positioned as a backdrop. The set up for Turner’s six man band which included pedal steel was wide open and spacious, all other objects on stage having been moved to the wings. At 8:39 p.m. Hanna South Carolina native Joshua Otis Turner 45 took the stage for a 38 minute / 8 song set which was cut short precisely in half due to thunder and lightning. With the sound of a train whistle and a plume of smoke from the drum kit Turner rolled in full throttle chugging through the hits #5 ‘Hometown Girl’, #2 ‘Firecracker’, and the title cut from his 2017 album ‘Deep South’ before addressing the crowd. ‘Thank you so much, how’s everyone doing here in Simpsonville. I am Josh Turner and man what a good looking crowd we got out here tonight at Heritage Park.’ Before ‘Left Hand Man’ from the ‘Punching Bag’ album he commented on the Holiday celebration and backdrop of the flag. ‘I honestly don’t like calling it “Happy Fourth of July”, I like calling it “Happy Independence Day”. ‘This flag right back here stands for that, and I personally stand for that flag!’ Next up was Hank Jr’s ‘Country State Of Mind’ which Josh did an amazing job on, not too many can pull off a perfect song in Bocephus style. For his 2016’s ‘Me And God’ the band came forward from their respective positions in the background trading electric for acoustic to perform the #16 in bluegrass style. From left to right the instruments were arranged fiddle, acoustic guitar, upright bass, and banjo, Josh questioning the audience, ‘How’d you like my bluegrass band?’ Swapping out the banjo for mandolin he kept the arrangement for a cover of Osbourne Brother’s ‘I Pray My Way Out Of Trouble’ dedicated to the late Bobby Osbourne who had just passed away this previous Tuesday. ‘He was a friend of mine and not only that he was a Korean War veteran with the Marines. He served his country and he loved bluegrass and I love Bobby Osbourne, and Bobby we’ll miss you’. Immediately upon ending the piece the wind picked up blowing the set lists taped to the floor across the stage and the chain link suspended lighting and speakers began to sway back and forth. Suddenly the mixing board tent went air born as the band scrambled to cover their instruments. An announcement commenced that we were on a ‘ten minute hold’ which lasted a whole of two minutes before they began to pack up. The skies opened up and thousands began to hustle to the one person width gates that we entered the grounds on. The evenings entire stock of fireworks began to fire off at one time expending all her shells in the space of five minutes time. It was truly something to experience! Not to appear to be overly critical but in typical Monday morning quarterback fashion, it’s a wonder that CCNB didn’t anticipate something like this happening and maybe cut short the opener’s time slots. It was likely one of their largest turnouts on record and managed differently Josh could have completed the entire set. Allowing us to bring in a sealed water bottle on such an extreme temperature day and having their filling stations operable would’ve been a plus as well. Missing from the set due to rain were ‘All Over Me’, ‘Would You Go With Me’ ’Time Is Love’, ‘Why Don’t We Just Dance’, ‘Your Man’ and the Hank Williams inspired classic ‘Long Black Train’ among others. Growing up in the church where he founded a gospel quartet singing bass to today, Turner’s singing is still tone perfect. Quoted, ‘I don't believe God wants me to be a gospel singer, He just wants me to be a Christian singer. That's who I am’, a music enthusiast such as myself can’t help but be thankful that he followed true to his calling. Look for J.T. when he rolls into a Station nearest you! The concert itself was fantastic. Josh is a fabulous performer and we loved every minute! I would say that while the venue is fine for folks who are able-bodied, it did leave something to be desired for those with mobility issues. My husband is unable to walk any significant distance due to a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. We came prepared for that by bringing a scooter for him to ride from the parking lot to the event area. We were disappointed to find that the bathrooms at ground level were closed for the performance. He was unable to navigate to the porta-potties that were designated for the general public. The ones he could get to were restricted to the “Garden area” and we were told we could not use them. As a result, he could never use the bathroom while we there. Also, there was no place for his scooter to easily access the stage area. While able-bodied folks were able to walk up steps from the parking lot to the gate, he had to go to the far end of the parking area away from the stage to find a level entrance and then drive the scooter a long way on large gravel, which was very unsteady under his mobility device. With the assistance of event staff, we were finally able to get him to the stage area. I think that this venue should install some type of a handicapped ramp near the entrance to the performance area so that folks with disabilities have an easier way in. I believe that this would be ADA compliant, and a small concrete style ramp would not be a large expense for this facility to install. I think this facility should remember that not everyone can walk and better accommodations for disabled patrons should be made available.

The concert was amazing. The staff working were not helpful. One of my family members was having difficulty with the environment and I was unable to help because I was being pushed out by staff. I was trying to help by taking all the items that were brought in but staff was not understanding and my family member ended up in an ambulance because of it.

Amazing Christmas themed show that included Josh’s family. I’ve been to several JT concerts for nearly 20 years now, and this was one of my most favorite concerts. Josh also sang many of his hits, in addition to some Christmas music. It was so nice to see his children and wife, Jennifer again. I miss seeing her play keyboard! Our seats were amazing, and comfortable.

Fantastic show. The lights were too bright in our faces at several points in the show. Not a bad reflection on the show its just hard on us for the direct super bright led light in our faces. The drinks should be available until midway part. It's hard to sing along when parched. No big deal it would be nice to have a water or something. Fantastic venue and show. We drove from Knoxville and back the same day. Ty Turner family for your dedication to the arts and encouraging others to do the same. This is my second year in a row seeing the show. It's nice having the man sing the songs I sing to my lady at home or in the car. I can't do the songs justice but it sure was nice having it live to dance my lady to. I had 3rd row seats from 3 yrs .ago. Josh was amazing as he always is. I had tickets in Reno a week before this concert but had to cancel because I had a torn meniscus and couldn’t make the trip. Josh spotted me and pointed to my leg. He is the BEST country singer on this earth and I can’t wait to see him again.

This was my first concert. I have to say this was an amazing experience. Josh Turner coming to a county fair you wouldn't think it would be a good show, but he treated everyone with the highest respect, sang songs from all across his albums and was cracking jokes on stage. I honestly would go to every concert he had if I had the money to go.

The Josh Turner concert was amazing! We loved the good, down home, wholesome music. Love him and his music. There was one point where people were encouraged to get up and dance. That was awesome to see. The ONLY downside had to do with lighting. The stage spot lights kept flashing into the crowed which was blinding and took away from the enjoyment of the performance. Fellow concert goers next to me made similar comments about the unpleasantness of that aspect. Lighting aside, amazing show!

Three ish years in the making due to reschedule and wonderful Covid. Finally made it to see an amazing artist. His song will you go with me holds a special place in my heart as my wedding song. We had planned around our anniversary when everything seemed to happen so right before our 20th it was amazing and can not wait for the next one will travel anywhere. 🥰❤️❤️

The show was fine, however the venue had issues. They gave us the wrong color wristbands. We got wristbands for general admission, not reserved as our tickets clearly showed. My wife and I got separated, when I got to the gate I was sent back to guest services to get the correct band. My wife was instructed to go around to general admission. She didn't get to her seat until more than half way through the show. She said she got to pet the police horses so all was not lost.

Josh Turner was FANTASTIC!First time seeing him in concert and he was incredible. His rich baritone singing voice seemed to be even better in his live performance than CD or video recordings. What an absolute treat as he sang 17 of his and fans' favorites from his various albums. He gave well deserved attention to two of his more recent albums, I Serve a Savior and Country State of Mind, performing 3-4 from each. What a consummate performer, singing flawlessly, interacting personably and in an engaging manner with the audience. Everyone ( and I mean everyone) was a having a GREAT time, as we were invited to stand, dance and even sing along at times. If Josh Turner comes back to the area, we will definitely attend. THANKS to Josh for a SUPERB concert and Rivers C****o for hosting.

The only thing that could have been better is me up there beside ya! I loved it!! You better let me know if you get close to me! You can b*t I’ll be there! Yes I will! You do an amazing job Josh! Had a really good time seeing Josh perform. The concert was great and he sounded amazing per usual! My only complaints were A. The seats were so close together that the very large man next to me ended up pushing us down and someone had to be seated elsewhere. B. People were smoking weed and it was like a cloud over the audience. And C. We got to the concert venue on time and Josh didn’t perform until 2 hours later. Otherwise we had a great time and I can’t wait for another opportunity to see him again!

She didn't get to her seat until more than half way through the show. She said she got to pet the police horses so all was not lost.

Josh Turner was FANTASTIC!First time seeing him in concert and he was incredible. His rich baritone singing voice seemed to be even better in his live performance than CD or video recordings. What an absolute treat as he sang 17 of his and fans' favorites from his various albums. He gave well deserved attention to two of his more recent albums, I Serve a Savior and Country State of Mind, performing 3-4 from each. What a consummate performer, singing flawlessly, interacting personably and in an engaging manner with the audience. Everyone ( and I mean everyone) was a having a GREAT time, as we were invited to stand, dance and even sing along at times. If Josh Turner comes back to the area, we will definitely attend. THANKS to Josh for a SUPERB concert and Rivers C****o for hosting.

The only thing that could have been better is me up there beside ya! I loved it!! You better let me know if you get close to me! You can b*t I’ll be there! Yes I will! You do an amazing job Josh! The only thing I’m still trying to figure out is!!! Where have I been all this time???? Bring it on Josh Turner !!!

Had a really good time seeing Josh perform. The concert was great and he sounded amazing per usual! My only complaints were A. The seats were so close together that the very large man next to me ended up pushing us down and someone had to be seated elsewhere. B. People were smoking weed and it was like a cloud over the audience. And C. We got to the concert venue on time and Josh didn’t perform until 2 hours later. Otherwise we had a great time and I can’t wait for another opportunity to see him again!
