In August 2006 he released his second solo album "Mercedes-Dance" also containing the single "klar". In contrast to his debut album Jazz and Funk sounds dominate and the lyrics are less sociocritical.

Es war nicht einfach nur ein Konzert – es war ein musikalisches Spektakel, ein energiegeladenes Happening, ein Fest der Lebensfreude, das alle Erwartungen übertroffen hat.
🌟 Jan Delay in Höchstform
Schon beim ersten Ton war klar: Jan Delay ist nicht nur ein Ausnahmekünstler, sondern auch ein geborener Entertainer. Mit seiner unverwechselbaren Stimme, seinem lässigen Stil und einer Bühnenpräsenz, die das Publikum sofort in seinen Bann zog, lieferte er eine Performance, die ihresgleichen sucht. Zwischen Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop und Rock changierend, zeigte er einmal mehr, wie genreübergreifend und innovativ deutsche Musik sein kann.

Bläser, Bass, Drums, Gitarren – alles auf den Punkt, alles mit maximaler Spielfreude. Jeder Song wurde zur kollektiven Ekstase, jeder Break zum Gänsehautmoment. Besonders hervorzuheben: die funky Version von „Klar“, die das Publikum in einen kollektiven Tanzrausch versetzte.
