Have seen them many times, last in Burnsville, MN at the ski-lift venue, this show featuring "Southern Rock Opera" was a tour de force at the very nicely repurposed Uptown Theater in MPLS featuring great light show and staging. The sound was good EXCEPT for Mike Cooley's mic, burying his vocals in the mix on several of his songs (a soundboard issue, acoustics are great in the venue). Look forward to future shows there and of course, future opportunities to see DBT!

I love DBT - they always play a rocking show. Patterson usually gives his political 2 cents and then moves on to the music. The Warner Theatre is an old building but still a great venue to see bands. The sound is good and the seats are still comfortable after all these years.

Fantastic show by America's greatest rock band! The Truckers performed the entire Southern Rock Opera album along with some fine selections from their catalog. The boys were enthusiastic and performed with vigor. The Complex is a nice venue with great sound and a very friendly staff. All in all, a great show in a venue I'll go back to again and again.

About Drive-By Truckers

Welcome 2 Club XIII, DBT’s 14th studio album, marks a sharp departure from the trenchant political commentary of their last three records.

A reckoning with the dualities of the things that make you alive and how they sometimes can kill you. A life affirming flashlight for the dark nights of one’s soul.

With guest appearances including Margo Price, Mike Mills and Schaefer Lllana.

The first single (and title track) is a tongue in cheek homage to a local dive that founding members Cooley and Hood played in their early days.

Disco lights and industrial carpet, they would occasionally play to a near empty room or open for a hair metal cover band.

As they say in the song “Our glory days did kinda suck”.

Welcome 2 Club XIII out on June 3, 2022
