Hey there,
If you really wanna hear about it, being part of The Red Roosters was great. Making friends, knowing faces, having fun, girls, drinkin’ beer, smokin’ joints, gettin’ arrested by German cops and all the stuff you’re supposed to do if you sing for a young and cool rock’ n’ roll band and so on.
Don’t ask me why but I’ve had enough of that and now I wanna make real music, sing new tunes (and damn, in the right key this time!), live a quieter life. So, last January I got myself locked up in the studio with some old friends, great musicians, new ideas coming out, tryin’ to turn them into an album.
“This Is Where I Leave You” is the result of all that process and friends, I gotta tell you, I’m so proud of it and never in my life I would have thought this could really happen.
I’d be even prouder if I’ll ever be able to sell a single LP to someone (luckily my mum’s already ordered a copy).
