Sam DeRosa is the best friend music lovers didn't know they had. After appearing on NBC’s Songland, fans fell in love with her ability to write songs that capture the raw emotions of love and loss with heartbreakingly personal yet universally relatable lyrics. Singing her original song, “Pill for This.” Shortly after, Sam had her first platinum hit as a songwriter, co-writing lovelytheband’s “broken” and “emotion.” “Broken” has gone on to become the longest running song in rock radio history, lasting over two years on the charts.


Currently living in LA Sam has continued to prepare for her artist project while still helping other artists tell their stories. After co-writing “Be happy,” the first hit single from tik tok star Dixie Damelio, preparing for upcoming releases with Lukas Graham, and other major label projects, Sam is ready to focus on her artist project and tell her own story.
