Melody Lovejoy

Melody Lovejoy is a country recording artist and songwriter from Edmonton, Alberta. Influenced by her love of rock driven music and her country roots she has been compared to voices such as Carrie Underwood, Jan Arden and Kimberly Perry from the Band Perry. Melody was nominated in 2015 by the Edmonton Music Awards for the “People’s Choice” award and “Country Recording of the Year” award for her debut single, I’m Letting Go. She was a top ten finalist in the Hot107FM 2015 Hot Factor artist competition and is a currently a semi-finalist in the Unsigned Only Music Competition. Melody was awarded the Rawlco Radio 10k20 Grant in 2013, was a Global Country Star Search finalist in 2013 and 2014 and was nominated as an “Artist to Watch” at the 2014 Edmonton Music Awards. In 2014 she was also recognized as the International Female Vocalist, International Most Promising Female Vocalist, International Entertainer, and International Songwriter for "One More Time" at the North American Country Music Associations International competition, which was held in Dolly Parton’s hometown of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Her debut EP, Letting Go, was produced in Nashville with 7-17 Music and was released in the fall of 2014. The first single, I’m Letting Go, was successfully released to National Radio in Canada and received airplay in Canada, Japan and the Netherlands. Canadian Country Artist & Songwriter.
