About Dan Harrison

Dan Harrison is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Growing up immersed in music of all kinds outside Philadelphia, he was drawn to country music and the sounds of the south while attending college at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. After graduating, he made his way to Nashville.

Since moving to Music City, Dan has shared the stage with acts such as Mitchell Tenpenny and Steve Moakler, and earned cuts with artists like Adair's Run, Todd Cameron, Belles, Clayton Shay, Carson Beyer, and more. One of his cuts, the recent viral TikTok song "All Hat No Cowboy" by Belles, is currently at over 4 million views on TikTok. He was also awarded the 2021 ASCAP Jay Gorney Award, and the 2022 Bluebird Golden Pick for his song, “Friendly Fire”, which highlights the mental health issues facing our military veterans. He is also the recipient of the 2023 ASCAP Harold Adamson Lyric Award - Country Divison.

He has shared festival Bills with Lady A, Lainey Wilson, Carrie Underwood, Hardy and Blake Shelton, most recently at the Barefoot Country Music Festival in Wildwood, New Jersey and Carolina Country Music Festival in Myrtle Beach, SC. Dan's music has been featured on Spotify's New Boots and Wild Country, among many other editorial playlists across DSP’s, and his artist projects have accumulated over 1.5 million streams across platforms thus far, with a new slate of singles releasing in the fall of 2023 and for all of 2024. By any metric, it's clear that Dan is making a name for himself as both an artist and writer in Music City, offering a fresh and unique perspective and sound to country music, with a momentum that continues to grow.
