About Agent Sparks

Agent Sparks is a band, formed in mid 2004 when two former band mates from Audiovent (guitarist Ben Einziger and bassist Paul Fried) decided they wanted to still make music. They recruited former Audiovent drummer Ryland Steen and found Stephanie Eitel after seeing her perform with a local musician. A few months later, Ryland left the band to tour with Reel Big Fish, and George Purviance, Ben and Paul's childhood friend and a very talented percussionist, replaced Ryland around the beginning of 2005.

Agent Sparks signed a record deal with Immortal Records in April of 2005 and spent the summer recording songs for their Not So Merry EP and their debut album, Red Rover, both of which Mike Einziger (Incubus) produced. Not So Merry was released in September 2005, and Red Rover was released on June 20, 2006.
