This wasn’t a typical concert for me as I got to sit down and eat a meal while he performed. He was playing solo and his voice was really powerful and he sounded just like his songs. Amazing performer and I got to talk to him afterwards!

It was quite crowded, but overall it was amazing! I loved it and it was a great first concert experience!

I loved every single part of it! Matt and his band are amazing, the meet and greet was quick but worth it! The venue staff made us wait for a while past the accorded time, but I think the reason why is that the soundcheck took way too long, which was fine cause we could hear a bit of it! I hope Matt comes back to Brazil soon!

This was my first concert and matt maltese is my favorite artist and this concert filled me with joy, I loved it, 10000/10, would see again. <3

matt maltese played an incredible show. he had a lot of fan interaction and was super engaging the whole time. he never sounded bad and i was so happy i was able to go. HOWEVER. the venue was very disappointing. fans and i had gotten there 30-60+ mins early to get in the front, and the venue had us stack along six flights of stairs (with the people who got there first on the first floor) once the stairs got full, they started having fans wait outside the first floor. when the doors opened, the staff let in the people at the base of the stairs and the people they put outside (so essentially no one who got there 40+ mins early was let in the order they got there). we stood on the stairs for 45 minutes after the doors opened because of this. we felt very shafted and hurt! i hope no other fans have to experience that at this venue, and that it gets fixed in the future.

cried through the first few songs of the set, matt maltese was amazing and everyone seemed to feel the same way. the opener was great. the energy at irving plaza was there!

Matt is an incredible live vocalist and musician. I absolutely love how he changed up some of his songs for the live performance—singing new lyrics and highlighting background rhythms that seem to have gone unnoticed in his studio recordings. Matt’s setlist was wonderful, including his most popular songs as well as some new and old. His performance will be one I remember for the rest of my life. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to see my favorite artist in person, and I am so grateful the Canal Club was an excellent concert venue.

Fantastic! The venue was small and intimate, and Matt has a lovely voice. 10/10, I would love to see him again.

Amazing concert, please attend if near by an event. The opening act Girl Puppy was great too, we enjoyed the entire evening.
