About Arcade Fire

Arcade Fire
Arcade Fire Emerging from Montreal, Canada in the early 2000s, Arcade Fire quickly earned a reputation for transcendent live shows that brought arena-size ambition to stages of all sizes.
By the close of the tour supporting its 2004 debut album Funeral — widely hailed as one of the best and most important albums of the 2000s — Arcade Fire’s live experience was already raising thousands of voices in ecstatic unison nightly.
Titled in tribute to the memories of family members, Funeral’s cathartic confrontation of tragedy and life-affirming celebration of love, hope and band members’ Haitian roots has only grown in stature over the years.
The album has been named the #1 album of the ‘00s by Rolling Stone, and has topped Best of the Decade lists around the world including NME, Q, Pitchfork, The Guardian, Mojo, Spin, Consequence, Paste and more.
Subsequent Arcade Fire albums Neon Bible, The Suburbs, Reflektor, Everything Now, WE have earned the band three #1 albums worldwide, ten GRAMMY nominations (including a 2011 Album of the Year win for The Suburbs), four Juno awards (including three for Album of the Year), a BRIT Best International Album award, as well as an Academy Award nomination for the original score to the feature film HER.
Most recently, Pink Elephant (2025) showcases a mystical punk sound across 10 tracks, produced by Win Butler, Régine Chassagne, and Daniel Lanois. Recorded in New Orleans, it offers a layered sonic journey unfolding to reveal new dimensions with each successive listen.

What fans are saying
Arcade fire are always great. But they are definitely at the very top of their game right now. Some of the most emotionally lived in and rich rock performances you will hear in your life. Even if you are only a casual fan, if you love live music, you owe it to yourself to hear their live show.

There was something special in the air at Malahide for this gig. The stage was perfectly aligned with the sunset, the set list was divine, the visuals stunning and the band had the crowd enthralled from the get go. A gig of a lifetime.

Opening act was entirely forgettable. Climate Pledge was less than half full five minutes before AF took the stage. A beautiful piano solo started things off. Great energy and skill from several band members got the show off to a positive, if not awesome start. With the cloud hanging over the band and a skeptical crowd, the show’s outcome hung in the balance. But professionalism and that amazing AF energy overcame the obstacles and the band and the crowd lifted each other to a frenzied and greatly enjoyable crescendo. Drummer, Jeremy Gara, multi player Richard Reed Perry and most of all, Regine really lifted the band and the crowd. Who knows what the future holds, but I’m really glad I was able to attend this show.
