You can find our music at www.selanum-music.com Created out of a group of close friends, Selanum quickly evolved into a passionate endeavor into the creative process of making and performing music. Initially starting as a simple hobby, the song writing process for the group began in the garage and rapidly found its way into the clutches of technology, with the band members making use of any type of collaborative tools to accelerate the musical genesis and make it available to each member at any time of day. Empowered with such tools the group quickly made headway into a more than full catalog of songs. Powering through various lineup changes, the band played a group of powerhouse shows in the Chain Reaction club in Anaheim, California, warranting excellent crowd response that propelled them into the house lights of the Whiskey a Go-Go in Hollywood, opening for acts such as Otep, Ampora, Nekrogoblikon, and upcoming with Holy Grail. The musical style of the group blends elements of classic 80’s metal and thrash with progressive groups and shear balls out, in-your-face bottom end growling vocals that combines into a powerhouse act that rocks anyone a fan of hard rock and heavy metal.
