Lisa Gain

Lisa Gain is an Americana/Folk Singer-Songwriter-Guitarist. She has been playing in bars & coffee shops from Cleveland, OH down to Cincy, OH & everywhere in between since 1996. She wrote her first song at 12 years old & started getting paid as a demo singer at the age of 15. She bought & taught herself to play Guitar at 18 years of age. She was once a top 10 Semi-finalist on the popular Columbus area radio station WNCI "Diva" contest, out of over 500 competitors in 2001. She was a top 20 Semi-finalist on the Fox TV show "Gimmie the mic Columbus" out of over 600 competitors in 2006. She just won an Ohio Music Award in 2014 for the best Americana Song for her original song "2 Packs of Cigarettes". She plays MANY genres in cover songs ranging from Country, Pop, R&B, Classic Rock, Alt. Rock etc... She covers them all & has many original tunes to play as well! Her voice has been compared to the likes of Tracy Chapman, Alanis Morisette, Melissa Etheridge, Wynonna Judd, Grace Slick, & many more.
