Andrea Labanca

Andrea Labanca is a nomadic songwriter. He just came home from the Spaghetti Couchsurfing Tour, that saw him roam from house to house throughout Europe with a part of his famous Fisheye Band, offering an acoustic gig, a plate of spaghetti and some fine italian wine in exchange for a place to sleep. A born rock singer and performer, he hails from Milan's outskirts. Labanca chose to enrich his experience aspiring to a sort of Neverending Spaghetti Tour through Italy, Europe and, why not, the whole world. After two critically-acclaimed and popular albums, I pesci ci osservano (2009), that was chosen in june 2010 to be album of the week on Fahrenheit (on the third channel of the public radio) during the week devoted to political refugees and hosted by foreign journalists – and Carrozzeria Lacan (2013) – that brought Andrea to the prestigious stage of Sanremo's Premio Tenco – he began a countless number of collaborations and tours. Nowadays, Andrea Labanca is going back to the simplicity of the direct exchange as the primary mean to spread music and to research new inspirations.
