Chris Ah Gee

Chris Ah Gee is a self taught singer/songwriter musician. He first launched himself onto the Cairns music scene as a solo artist performing alternative soul in 2011 after a brief stint as the front man of a blues band and later as a lead vocalist of a 14 piece big band. In 2015 Chris released his debut E.P. "Fear" alongside his music video for his original track "Fear" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVMgurHuJ-I Since releasing his last album Chris has been travelling the world entertaining at Weddings, Corporates and Cruise ships with his partner "Jazzella" After working in the live music scene for six years, Chris has refined his musical and stage presence and brings this experience to present a high energy show with an alternative soul style that most describe as "Captivating" and "Directly from the heart." Chris has opened for and worked alongside artists such as: -Bernard Fanning -Vance Joy -Stan Walker -Prinnie Stevens -Andrew De Silva -Eugene “Hideaway” Bridges -Emma Louise -Jimmy Hocking -The Starry Field -Snackadaktal -The Medics -Matt McHugh (The Beautiful Girls) -Peking Duk -Cloud control -Christina Anu Chris is currently (2017) living and playing music in Brisbane, his next album is in the writing process and is looking to be released late this year. Chris Ah Gee is a musician who has been nurtured closely by the Cairns music scene. He first picked up a guitar at age 17 and ambitiously taught himself how to play! Chris now lives in Brisbane where he travels the world entertaining on cruise ships.
