Born and raised in North Carolina, Pruitt Poythress has been a DJ and Producer for over 9 years. Passionate about his taste in music, he made his start as PRUITT in 2006 and has since played at nightclubs and venues across the United States from North Carolina to California. PRUITT has held numerous residencies and has shared the stage with the likes of Mat Zo, Dillon Francis, Gramatik, Cut Copy, Crystal Castles, Crizzly, and The Knocks just to name a few. PRUITT has also received a number of awards, including winner of the largest silent disco battle in the US in addition to a number of national competitions. PRUITT’s genuine ‘in the booth’ presence as a DJ has made him a local favorite and a sought-after performer nationwide.
