Red Meadow

Red Meadow was formed in 2007 in Northern Israel by Elimelech Schmalz (originally from the US), family members and friends. It was originally a tribute project for cousin Christopher Schmalz, who died tragically in an avalanche in January 2006 in Montana. The band has performed at the Jacob's Ladder folk festival for a number or years, as well as performances throughout Israel.

The band's debut LP was released independently in 2014 and was picked up by DJs from the popular rock radio station 88fm and placed in rotation, which led to additional shows and radio interviews. The follow up EP "Avalanche" was released in January 2017.
