Mock Sun

Mock Sun are a lucid, ever-evolving, psychedelic sound machine from Northeastern Pennsylvania. In 2013, they released their first full-length album, Hungry Mother, which was preceded by two E.P.s and two live albums. The band was formed by Mark Wohl and Jami Kali in 2011 after the two became dangerously dissatisfied with the hum drum dumb-dumb routine of the small coal-mining town from which they sprouted. Together, the pair prolifically write and produce music. In seeking to expand their musical family and overall sound experience, they were joined by Mark Dimirco and Dj Tasselmyer in early 2014. The foursome continue to foster a surreal, fertile soundscape. The sounds you are about to hear represent a luminous flux of fluctuating fantasies. Leave all personas at the door, and dig in.
