Broken Authority

Founded in Tuscaloosa, AL in the early summer of 2012 - Broken Authority shifted from it's early vision of aggressive hip-hop meets rock, to the blends in styles you see today of alternative rock infused with melodic hip-hop. This major change was brought along when Stephen (Steve-o) Anderson became the bassist and lead vocalist of the band, bringing in his unique sounds of the music he had written and been playing acoustically for years prior. The band soon adopted these songs as their own. Joel and Nick made them even greater by each contributing their own sets of unique skills on the guitar and drums. Since then, we have continued to write and create new music to blend each of our styles. We have had the honor of playing with such bands as: Hurt, SuperBob, Almost KIngs, Bridge to Grace, and Puddle of Mudd. We take every opportunity to spread our music as far across the earth as we can and push each other daily to be better people and musicians. Broken Authority is an original rock sound with a sledgehammer of soul from Birmingham, AL.
