George Benson

Fulfilled another of my "bucket list" concerts. George Benson and his band delivered a classy, polished show. The FOH mix was very good, albeit a little "bassy". Benson's vocals started out a bit low in the mix, but improved throughout the performance. Really enjoyed Lilliana de los Reyes! Gorgeous voice and excellent percussionist. Our first time at Ravinia, and it won't be our last. Great venue!

George B was fantastic. Still has a great voice and his band was right in sync. Played all the classics!

Amazing! George Benson looks great, sounds great, plays the guitar and sings amazingly like a 10 time Grammy Winner! He’s funny too! The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino supported his show well.

Absolutely divine. Mr Benson’s talents remain out of the universe. What a thrill to hear all his old hits again. He still loves playing them too.

The set, the sound, his voice, the music was really beautiful and such a gift to see and hear. Was pretty bummed though that he didn't play any songs from the Breezin album besides Masquerade, which in a way feels like his sweet spot and the music he made that brought so so much joy and uplift to so many people on this planet. The song repetoir seemed more commercial rather than heart felt and if I may say that the way the show ended abruptly felt a little cold. On the other hand, Georges energy, ease and generosity when singing and playing were a treasure to watch. Thank you 🙏

it was just as good as it was 45 years ago

To see a living legend live performing his music that has weaved its way into our societal “good vibe” platforms was so wonderful. It was my first time in Seaside Heights New Jersey and if folks were smart they would hold similar type music acts with the intent of having quality performers skipping major headliners to control crowds. I know that’s wishful thinking in this profit driven error. All in all, it was a great show. Ended too early but considering George’s age and his extensive music collage, I’ll take Sunday night a 1000 times over!!!! GREAT JOB!!!!

Great evening! It wasn't long before everyone got up and grooved to the music. Of course at 79 years old the high notes were not there but that was less than 5% of the performance. The rest was sublime. The backing vocals were spot on and the quality was of the music was like the original recordings. Quite a feat for a live show.

I had front row seats, GB did not disappoint! Lovely evening.

Absolute Legend! Loved it. Saw him in 1988 at Wembley...... still as amazing as he was then !

"Breezin" was the first album I ever bought. George Benson did not disappoint.

That was perhaps the greatest jazz concert I've ever been to even for being my first.

George was absolutely fantastic. I fell in love with his music in high school, and he certainly didn't disappoint. He's a living legend, and I will get to tell my kids that I saw him perform 😊

The best concert that I ever been to thus far. He was supernatural.
