We could spend time writing out a biography in third person making it seem as if some skilled writer reviewed our band and decided we were the best thing to happen to music in years. But that just isn't us. In reality what we are is broken souls with happy hearts. Growing up music was our escape. In the world ran by the nicely dressed and rich kids all we had was another misfit singing about how alone he felt on some burned CD we got from one of our fellow misfits. Oddly someone singing about feeling alone made us feel less alone. A song about heartbreak healed our own and when a upbeat song that made us jump came on it's as if our hearts matched the beat and suddenly everything was okay. So that is where we are. We are trying to be that voice through the speakers that says it's okay to not be okay. To make some punk kid getting picked on feel less alone and give him the courage to turn the other cheek knowing their worth. We don't want to be the headlining world tours kind of band, we just want to be the band that is there healing a broken heart at 2 in the morning when all other hope seems lost. We are My Atlantic, we're not hear to be poster boy dolled up rock stars. We are here to be the voice for the voiceless and the friend to the lonely.
