With a live sound that fans have described as "OneRepublic meets Matt Corby," Chris Smartt is an innovative singer songwriter and musician. Chris' musical influences are grounded in folk, rock, jazz, blues, and electronica, giving him a unique approach to songwriting and performing. Chris took a keen interest in songwriting during his 6 years living in culturally diverse Toronto, Canada and has been writing and recording his own original songs since. He uses his great control of the lyric and intricate melodies to communicate the heart of his songs in such a unique and meaningful way. Whether playing to a crowd, or thirty people in a backyard, Chris' easy going and fun personality is infectious. Audiences have lots of smiles and laughs throughout his engaging live shows.
