About Owl Vision
Owl Vision is a music creator and visual artist living in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Darkness began in 2007 when Johannes laid his hands on an old CS01 synthesizer from 1982. With productions inspired by bands like The Prodigy and Justice, and a burning love for metal music, a new genre was born called Death Electro. The debut album "Comorbid" gave name to Comorbid Records and houses most of the artist's releases.
While mainly working under the independent etiquette, with total artistic freedom, Owl Vision has music available on labels such as Universal, Parlophone, Playground, Dim Mak, FiXT and Kannibalen. But in the end most success comes from the very own label with Owl Vision having over 60 million streams on Spotify alone - music in commercials for Audi, Infinity, Warner Games and others - songs featured on TV-shows like Top Gear, Skins and Exposure.
Since the first live show at a local bar in Gothenburg, Owl Vision has played at festivals and clubs in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France. However, mental health issues in early 2019 forced Johannes to pause performing and turn down incoming offers. A struggle with severe depression stopped everything for a while before limiting it to creative studio work only. Now, several years later, there is talk of Owl Vision returning to the stage.
