About The Jessica Blinn Quartet
Jessica Blinn has been performing all around the Pacific Northwest, from bistros and dinner clubs to swing dances and festivals. Her band's slick sound energizes their interpretations of swing standards and jazz ballads. Professor Syd Potter's elegant flugelhorn, Cameron Arneson's steady bass, and Daven Tillinghast's mischievous guitar provide the velvet backdrop that let's Jessica shine, prompting the Tacoma News Tribune to comment "Jessica Blinn plays a soulful violin...[and] wows the audience."

Jessica Blinn, bass; Cameron studied under Chuck Israels and has accumulated a list of credits working with local and regional swing and gypsy-jazz groups, Daven Tillinghast, voice violin; Jessica also manages and books for the band, guitar; Daven is getting a lot of work as a sideman for several established local acts, such as Johnny Lewis and Steve Munger, Cameron Arneson, flugelhorn; Mr. Potter, retired Jazz Studies professor, conducts the Lakewood Community Jazz Big Band, and also writes the arrangements for Jessica's quartet, Syd Potter
