One of the finer moments of life; an evening with a truly brilliant singer-songwriter as he plays the music in his head for us live. The magic did happen.

Great show. We’ve seen Josh many times and it was interesting to hear so much new material. Memorial Hall is a wonderful, intimate, spot for an acoustic performance.

What a hard working performer who loves every moment with the audience. Doesn’t get much better than this man doing his thing in a tremendous venue.

Josh Ritter- is Buddy Holly, meets Johnny Cash, meets Lindsay Buckingham meets Ryan Adam’s. I got to see what I wish my artist’s do and that is take to the road and play your songs you are testing plus a few fan favorites. His ability to write very articulate songs that pull at your heart strings and drive emotions that lay deep inside the human race. He is the type of artist who loves his fans and truly loves his job. His ability to sing lyrics off the cuff and by the end you are dying to know what song was? He is able to transition from fast beat songs flawless. His music is smart and deep. If you haven’t heard him give him a try.

Glad to see Josh in his usual upbeat form, (even though he had a cold). Concert was great, he mixed a number of his songs from over the years to keep everyone pleased.

We have been looking forward to the Old Church show here in Portland. This is the first time we have been able to see Josh play a whole set of acoustic music. It’s great!

A magical evening. Josh had the crowd in the palm of his hand with a deft mix of joyfully upbeat tunes interspersed with his signature folk ballads, each one emotionally delivered in perfect voice to a rapt audience. More than worth the wait.

Josh was brilliant, engaging and witty! His solo performance ranks as one if the best shows I’ve ever attended. He’s the best songwriter of our time, and such a beautiful voice! I feel lucky to have seen him in such a small outdoor venue.

Josh and the band are so fun and you can tell that they LOVE to perform. They are all very talented musicians. The song writing is unique and beautifully orchestrated. A great concert for all music lovers, even if you're not familiar with their catalog.

I go see bands quite regularly. Every once in a while, the Stars align, and you have an unbelievable night on your hands. Well this happened when I saw Josh Ritter. He, and his band, are fantastic. If you have the opportunity to go see the band, do yourself a huge favor, and go.

This was the fourth time I've seen Josh Ritter and his band. They are all amazingly talented musicians, and Josh always seems to be having a lot of fun onstage. I live that he does a few songs by himself to mix it up, especially when he goes a capella (which he didn't for this show). I'll see him / them again as many times as I can!

Fantastic Concert! It's my second Ritter concert and I loved it just as much as the first one. :-D Can't wait for Josh and the Royal City Band to come back to Chicago!

Been going to his shows since I first accidentally saw him play at The 400 Bar. Josh continues to kill it with joy. What an amazing heart and mind. What an amazing band. I intend to never miss a show.

The main reason for us going was for Lake Street Dive. They were fantastic. Will definitely see them again! As for Josh Ritter? Well, I really wasn't familiar with him or his music. It was good, but we decided to leave after about six songs. 5 stars for Lake Street Dive.
