Maybe the best Canadian musician working today. Fascinating live performance. Ticky, strange, brilliant, mesmerizing, adorable and heartbreakingly funny.

Leif was phenomenal! I’m a relatively new listener to his music but after seeing him and his band perform Thursday at the Bronson Centre in Ottawa I’m a big fan. I will definitely see him again if he’s in the region.

Leif showcased his Revelation album and the new songs are very strong in a live setting. Elijah Rose was one of the highlights of the night. Olivier Fairfield is an incredible drummer who adds the perfect feel to Leif’s songs.

One of the best gigs over quite some time. The energy, atmosphere, connecting with the audience - loved it all. I made it all the way from Lithuania to see the show. Definitely would do it again, and again... until, hopefully, you will come to LT.

I thoroughly enjoyed the gig, pleased he played a wide selection of tunes and even threw in a rendition of Definitely Maybe, as a nod to the city!

The act before Leif went about 15 minutes over which cut into Leif’s time, which was unfortunate because he and the band sounded great. Leif also played one of the sessions and in that played an excellent version of Moondog with some fiddle by Charlie of Blanco White.

Leif’s solo shows are amazing as he plays guitar and piano (sometimes at the same time) and shares stories and his quirky sense of humour with the audience. A very intimate show that really highlights his amazing talent.

Clairement heureux de retrouver les spectateurs de sa ville d'adoption, Vollebekk nous a charmé par ses maniérismes uniques à lui, mais surtout par ses sublimes chansons. Il nous a même gâté de deux rappels, le dernier étant une interprétation solide de "Purple Rain" de Prince, une de ses idoles. Une soirée inoubliable 💜

Leif was fantastic live. So playful, engaging, funny, and talented! It’s not always easy carrying an entire show by yourself without your band present, but he killed it! He also played a couple of new songs and some great covers.
