Music is not just something I want to do but something that is part of me, something I love to do, and I wouldn’t stay without. The Passion for Worship has been bubbling in me from my childhood age. This is a little story of my Music Life…. My name is Winnie Manyanshi Mukadi, wife and mother of a two year old girl. I was born in Zambia Central part of Africa in a city of Ndola. I was born in a Christian family of 6 and am the last born. I grew up having bible studies in the house, fasting and overnight prayer meetings. I remember when I was young being asked to lead worship songs before our family bed time prayers and that was the moment I started discovering something about myself. My love for music grew even more and I had to join the Sunday school choir. I joined the school choir and acting class when I was in 5th grade, where we did Poems, Drama plays and music until high school. My Music Journey grew and became part of me. Serving in my local church Grace Ministries Mission as one of the worship leaders, I learnt more of What God wanted me to do in my Ministry. I Joined Chengelo band and other music bands and later started working on a solo Album. In 2009 I was awarded as best female vocalist by Mukuba Arts trust. The awards are targeted at upcoming and already established talents of the Copper belt province. In November 2010 I moved to USA and my Journey became more interesting, I’ am one of the worship leaders at Mont’ Carmel Church of God, here in Charlotte NC and a member of Shammah Celebration Worship team. Worship now is even more interesting because God is teaching me who I am; he is molding me and training me. God has been good to me and my family. My journey has been all about God’s Grace, Mercy, favor and love. And I want my music to convey the same massage. Thanks for liking my page. I believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Holly Spirit.
