Peter is a fantastic storyteller, it took his show to a deeper level. The countdown to the show had a "Manual Clock". It was a video of someone painting the minute hand, erasing and re-painting as the time changes. Very cool.

We were "warned" that PG was all about playing his new music with only a few old songs mixed into the set. Honestly, we think his new music is brilliant and really enjoyed the show. Of course I wish he had played a few more old school songs, but it is what it is. PG's voice is still fantastic, the lights and stage set up were creative and the band was equally as impressive. The downfall of the night was the fact that we were literally the only people who wanted stand up during the new songs. In fact, we were yelled at with one attendee telling us "this isn't a Garth Brooks show". I have no idea what that even means... Because PG's presence was so incredible, I've giving his show 5 stars regardless of the lame concert goers who opted to stay seated for 80% of the show. (FYI- I'm 54, so even in my middle years of life, I wanted to get my groove on. I'm not a 20 year old who needed to stand to burn energy).

Great old songs, but I wasn't impressed by the newer ones. And the really bad sound at the KIA forum took away from the excitement seeing hime live unfortunately. I wish this show would have been at the Hollywood Bowl instead. From now on I will be avoiding sport arenas.

I really felt that Peter was doing his bare minimum. It's like a comedian who has other people tells the bulk of the joke, but he delivers only the punchline. Production value was solid. I liked that the crew were wearing a bright colour to make them stand out, rather than blend in. Though Penitentiary Orange should have been flagged as a no-go colour. Heheh. The merxh was exceedingly uninspired and bland. I was not motivated to buy any of it. What I will say is that the other vocalists did a superb job and the rest of the band should be commended for a great performance. Peter was the only disappointment.

Great show! Played all the new material, and had a very positive story theme of connectedness and the environment. Would have liked a few more older tracks, but fantastic show and visuals!

PG has been the world's best musician for decades, and he delivered a bunch of great new tunes with fantastic live interpretations. The setlist was a blend of old and new, and the band was world-class as always when he tours. You won't hear drums and bass any better.

Very good show. Peter’s voice is still excellent and he is a consummate showman. The band is exceptional, too. The lions share of the show is from I/O, the new album, which is a good addition to the catalog and has a few terrific songs. However, when an artist has such an incredible catalog of material, it’s disappointing not to hear more of those songs. The highlight of the show was the older material, with two or three exceptions.

Outstanding! A great mix of old classics and new favorites. His voice sounds great. The band is extraordinary - love the new faces! And of course you can’t lose with Manu and Tony.

Great sound, awesome effects, set list has some classics and new material. Five star performance. The venue though, bad echo off of the rear. Drums and everything bouncing back. Once you heard it, you couldn't help but keep noticing it.

In a word, the Peter Gabriel show at Capital One arena in DC was "spectacular". Contrary to most artists of his generation, who tour repeatedly by playing their greatest hits, half of the tunes from the evening's set list were from the forthcoming new release "I/O"...the rest were a selection of hits and other gems from the past. I really like the new songs a lot. The stamina required to sing and play a 22-song show (approx. 2:45) is significant, especially for a 73-year-old gent.  However, his energy and enthusiasm never seemed to diminish, and his voice still has the power and range that we are used to from him. His band was excellent as always in performing these songs to perfection. The multi-media backdrop and effects on and above the stage really complemented the material and was well choreographed. The sound mix was really good. Overall, this is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. My grade: A+

Amazing show from an amazing and legendary talent. Everything from the new music, past music and the visual effects were fantastic. The band was also great ! I had a great time. Ending the show with In Your Eyes and Biko was A+++. Thanks Peter Gabriel, the band mates and all the people who made that show what it was.

Peter Gabriel has a great show for his new music. New technology, new songs and old hits mixed up in to a 100 minute show full of various artistic images on multiple large screen display. Professional musicians help pull this off.

Peter and his band of 8 talented musicians was absolutely incredible. They performed for almost 3 hours and each moment was exhilarating and breathtaking. I hadn't seen Peter live since his famed Secret World tour, 30 years ago, so it really meant so much to me to see him with the legend that is Tony Levin, and the extraordinary David Rhodes and brilliant Manu Katche. Manu's percussion for Biko was one of the highlights for me. All 9 of these amazing people brought tears to my eyes and made my heart soar. It's been a long time since I connected in such a deeply emotional way with the music and performers at a live show. It was truly an honour to witness their greatness and I am so grateful for Peter Gabriel. He is a master of his craft and a healer. He takes his art to levels beyond just music. What a truly glorious night. Please go see Peter and his band if you have the opportunity. I should also talk about the music itself. Peter played his new album, i/o, in its entirety, I believe. I absolutely love every track. It's brilliant. Still making incredible music after all these years.

A full house at Scotiabank Arena last night for a fantastic showcase of solid new material and a fine assortment from his vast catalogue. Not a lick of early Genesis gems but a musical box full of goodies nonetheless, including Solsbury Hill, from his solo debut recorded in Toronto with Canadian producer Bob Ezrin 47 years ago! He was in a chatty mood, great voice and a phenomenal 8-piece band including his stalwart sideman on bass, Tony Levin. Amazing show!

Great sound and Peter and band in great form but ... I think he would have been better off to do the full new album at one go and then bring on the hits for a second set. The pacing as it was was really precarious. Audience lost a lot of interest at new stuff (which is normal enough if not known material). But came alive at the familiar. Have to admit my own drifting even though the new stuff is quite worthy. Not knowing words does impact a lot on new stuff as well. Light show and backing art materials amazing. Very disapo0inted the version of Saulsberry Hill did not replicate the hard guitar parts at the end of the song. Missed that a lot. Also no Shock the Monkey or Games without ... and a few others I really wanted to hear as we don't get to see him much. Saw him first at Maple Leaf Gardens on the first So tour. That was quite laid back with no screens et al. Was really hoping for the Peter who brought so much to the other tours after that. His voice is in great shape mind you.

The man’s voice is as good as it ever was, if not better! Lots of new songs (50% of the set), but they work beautifully, sounding like classics already - The Court, wow! Fantastic night with some of the best musicians, new and old that , that you could hope for.

It was perfect as usual. He said not long ago that artists want to play the new stuff and fans want to hear the old, it is a trade of. He did just that but I truly preferred to hear the new stuff, I must have matured as a fan, didn’t look at the playlists of previous shows.
