Lyal Strickland

A singer, songwriter, and farmer born, raised, and living in the Missouri Ozarks, Lyal Strickland balances songwriting, touring, and raising grass-fed beef. Writing about too much rain and not enough of it, economic upturns and downturns and the intricacies of small town culture, his songs come straight from the heart with a heavy dose of reality. I see only open fields I feel what I feel I'll feel when I die, but now I'm feeling alive.
