First time in Bendigo: intimate venue perfect for Martha. Martha was brilliant and definitely a one of a kind performer.

Melbourne Recital Centre would have to be one of the best venues in Melbourne. No matter where you sit you can see and hear everything very clearly. Martha Wainwright gave a warm and often humorous appearance and was likewise warmly received by her audience. She sang songs from most of her albums, tinkered briefly on the piano and read short excerpts from her memoir, Stories I Might Regret Telling You. The 90 minute performance went very quickly, then she came out for some more due to the encore calls and then without amplification she and the band signed off with a nice acapella ending. Then she went to the foyer and signed autographs and had photos taken with fans. This was a customer friendly performer and worth seeing again.

Intimate and honest evening with an amazing songwriter and human. Thanks for thinking of your trip to St. Louis as a child as a reason to visit.

I love Martha , but I have a little deception for the show she gave us at Quai des Arts ,in Carleton-sur-mer. She was not enough prepared , the pianist was missing , but the contre-bassist was excellent. A miss of respect and ptofessionnalism from her and for her fans, who I am.

It's so nice to see someone perform and have fun, rather than do a set list and go. I hope to have the opportunity to see Martha again, loved it. Bernice, the support act and backing band are all very accomplished musicians and worth a look. First encore was "Chelsea hotel", just beautiful and brought a tear to my eye.

It was fabulous! Martha and Lucy made the outmost of their last gig of this tour. Minor point.. It was shirt, very short! One hour - I expected a couple mire songs, even when they keeping insisting that they didn't know more songs. Really!
