While lineup changes are often the death of a band, they made FOMENTO stronger, tighter and more focused than ever. In early 2010 Tommy Aurizzi (lead guitar) and Umberto Maliziotti (drums) joined Marco Krasinski (vocals/bass) and Fabrizio Damiani (rhythm guitar) redefining FOMENTO’s heavy-hitting line-up and putting the first stone in the reinvention of their straight-to-your-face Roman metal. After the worldwide critical success of “Either Caesars or Nothing” (2009, Coroner Records) FOMENTO is now ready to unleash their mind-blowing long-awaited new album: “TO PERSEVERE IS DIABOLICAL”. Each song, from the furious first single “The Skeleton Coast” to the crushing “Devil’s Trill”, takes you by surprise and slams you in the balls with punishing riffs and brutal drum assaults. And after their anti-emo single “Kill FashionCore”, FOMENTO’s got also a new anathema called “Necropotency” which is a blistering attack against reunion bands and what they stand for in today’s music industry. Production duties were once again handled by frontman Marco Krasinski and the album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Matteo Gabbianelli at Kutso Noise Home Studio in Rome, Italy. FOMENTO has toured and shared the stage with Vader, Destruction, All Shall Perish, Hatesphere, Bonded by Blood, Necrodeath, Gama Bomb and many others. The artwork was designed by acclaimed artist Brent Elliot White (Job for a Cowboy, Trivium, Chimaira, Arch Enemy). After their live debut on June 6th, 2006 the band has never stopped and no wonder, since if you look up for the word FOMENTO you’ll find out it means: “instigation, deliberate and intentional triggering of discord and violence”, in other words: no respite from the metal carnage! 100% Straight-to-your-face Roman Metal!!!
