About Nicolas McCoppin
With a mission to create space for himself in pop music, McCoppin offers a fresh perspective on the timeless genre. McCoppin has been described as “...a once-in-a-lifetime artist. Since his official debut in 2019, McCoppin has received acclaim from publications and media companies such as VEVO, Spotify, Grindr, Queerty, Medium, Instinct Magazine, etc. McCoppin’s debut EP, "Loverboy" debuted on a billboard in Times Square, New York City, for global release day and the release weekend.
McCoppin has performed at various venues in New York City including two sold-out shows at The Bowery Electric and Piano’s NYC, and various performances at the YouTube Space NYC. It was these performances and a distribution deal with AWAL (a division of Kobalt Music) that launched his online fanbase to garner over 50,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and well over 650,000 worldwide streams on his debut EP, ‘Loverboy’.
In 2021, McCoppin made his official US radio debut with ‘Heaven’, the lead single from his forthcoming project. As of 6/30, the record entered Mediabase’s US Pop/Top 40 chart at #40. ‘Heaven’ continues to climb higher each week with rave reviews from station programmers across the US.
The new single ‘Perfect Pictures’ is available worldwide now.
