Deep Purple

Unforgetable performance! They left no question as to whether they can still pull it off in their 70s - absolute gold. Note: 16th July concert was at the Papp Laszló Arena in Budapest, Hungary.

Excellent performance! Nice venue with friendly staff. First time I saw Deep Purple since 1985 & I was impressed with their professionalism, musicianship & great set list.

The guys are getting older now but they still put on a great show and blasted out all the favourites that the crowd loved. Great light/video show but for me the highlight was how seem-less Simon McBride fitted into the line up, what an absolute talent this guitarist is. Absolute privilege to see this guy perform all the Deep Purple classics with such perfection. Keep on rocking guys and thank you. Blue Oyster Cult as special guests were awesome too, great gig.

1st, and probably only time of seeing Deep Purple. A truly great experience.. even if the O2 isn't the most intimate or acoustically stable environment.

Just WOW! Very special commemoration for the former guitarist Steve Morse. I think he just put down his harp on a cloud to listen to it.

Deep Purple put on a great show!! The Armory in Minneapolis is by far the best place to see a show. High class venue!!

Finally after all these years, saw Deep Purple live. Entirely enjoyable concert! Masterful musicians, clearly enjoying their craft, and genuinely fully appreciative of the audience. Ideal! - what a real old school rock concert, aged & grown mutually and ‘shared’ by everyone- the band, the audience, and former strangers making a spoken & unspoken connections while sharing the experience & most reminiscing of along ago era; revived expertly & naturally. These master musicians play so well, making difficult to play music seemingly easy, relaxed yet fully rounded & completely. No pretense, no arrogance, just truly a group of guys doing what they love, for us who loved it. THEY bow, wave & fist-over-heart. Deep Purple performers (& all support staff): the honor is ours! Cliche I know but: a show you really should experience if you can.

Sound quality was excellent.. Opening number “Highway Star” set the tone. The band worked like a well-oiled machine. Great set list. Crowd reception would have been better if people would put their phones in their pockets.

Saw Deep Purple For The first time and they blew me away. I cant believe how awesome Ian gillian sounded. Don aiary rocked the keyboards,ian paice did an amazing job on drums,steve morse was good on guitar he will never be better then ritchie blackmore and of course roger glover. One of the best bassists ever

Ian may not have the same voice as 30 years ago, but he compensates in passion and energy! The whole band was amazing, and the setlist was great!

All in all a great show. Ian Gillan struggled a bit. Seemed to be under the weather. My only complaint, too many memories and not enough new material. Steve Morse and Don Airey are too talented not to showcase, and neither is at their best attempting to cover Richie Blackmore and Jon Lord. Ian Paice remains one on the finest drummers of all time.

first and foremost deep purple will always be rock icons who helped pave the way for every one else but...there come a time when one must hang up the gloves...so i say...keep on 🎸 rocking guys.till you just cant rock no more....💘

If you have the opportunity to see this show and you don't, you should hate everything about you. I'd give it 7 stars if I could.

I finally saw Deep Purple again!! 🤘 Unfortunately (for me) they couldn't follow Edgar and Alice so I can't give them five stars. But they were great!! 🤘

Deep Purple sounded really good last night. My only disappointment was the lead singer. He struggled to belt out the classic Purple songs. I love him but it was tough watching him sing for 75 minutes. The keyboard player Don Airy was extremely good. He made it look easy.

If somebody says these guys are done with performing and writing new stuff that's not right. 2 hours with no breaks of pure joy and instrumentally the best era of DP. Everybody sounds great, but Don Airey was the real surprise as I was convinced that nobody can replace Jon Lord. Steve Morse is definitely brilliant with his guitar work keeping the instrumental section at such a high level. Their performance bring so much energy and excitement with every song. I would say they evolved into very interesting jazzy sound, of course with very unique DP sound incorporated into new arrangements.Highly recommended to see.

Gillan was in top form as well as the rest of the band. It sounded like a true early seventies concert with the amps carryng the main Sound rather than the digital sound systems most bands use now. Someone even fired up a joint to add to the experience

very fun, I didn't know some of the newer material they played, but the classics were great and Steve Morse is just fantastic

I'm a long time Deep Purple fan and I was thrilled to finally see them but I think they may be pushing themselves a little hard.

Great Show! Ian can still belt out the tunes. DP played all their hits. Show was about 1 hr 4 min long. Stage had 2 large screens ( 1 each side of stage) and the backdrop were screens too that displayed graphics and live footage of the show. Great concert!
