Old Fashion

Old Fashion is a Brisbane based rock n roll band that has played with artists including I Am Giant, Like Thieves and The Vernons. Old Fashion was formed by a company of friends that emerged from the scraps of failed pop groups. Through the abyss of drinking plentiful amounts of alcohol and enjoying oneself in a noisy and lively way (carousing), the only thing that they could cling to as a productive activity was playing music and figured you might want to hear it. Following The Punch Drunk Love Tour along Australia’s east coast to support the release of their single Stuck In a Groove, they returned to the studio to write and record their new EP that will be released in August 2016. Expect nothing less than riffs, haunting choruses and guitar solos. ‘Romeo’ the first track off the EP was released in April 2016, enduring ongoing interest. It has been played through the airwaves Triple M Homegrown and Triple Z. The memorable film clip was officially released through themusic.com.au and received the honour of official selection for the Brisbane Backyard Film Festival. The video has been played multiple times on RAGE and MTV Australia. The second single off the EP will be released in August 2016, ahead of there EP release ‘What were we Thinking’, which is sure to turn heads. The story of Old Fashion is somewhat of a ‘bro-mantic comedy’, however not funny, not even slightly.
