About Raskob Rails
Raskob Rails – more than just a band, they are a piece of melodic punk rock history from Wittlich, Germany. Founded in 1998, five friends came together through their shared passion for music, creating a stage to express what words alone couldn’t. Known for their high-energy live shows and raw, heartfelt lyrics, they quickly gained a loyal fan base. Their style, a blend of melodic punk rock, powerful guitar riffs, and emotional depth, made them a staple in the scene.
After an intense decade of performances and two cult classic releases – *“For Friends & Loved Ones”* (2001) and *“One Way Letters EP”* (2004) – the band took a break in 2007. But their passion for music never faded. In 2018, they reunited for a show in Trier, reigniting the fire and connecting with fans again. A year later, their performance at Riez in Bausendorf was another unforgettable moment.
Now, with over 25 years of history, Raskob Rails are ready to write their next chapter. In 2024, they’ll return to the studio, combining the best of their past with fresh ideas. "We play what we love – no compromises, no limits," they say. Their upcoming 3-track single (mixed & mastered by Scott Sellers ), set for release in 2025, offers a glimpse into the exciting future of this unique band.
