About 48Hours

48Hours have been building up a solid following across the country, through touring heavily off their own steam for the last 2-3 years, and gaining a reputation for having one of the most enthralling live shows on the UK underground circuit. Blending heavy melodic rock, stadium sized riffs and choruses that get embedded in the skull for days, they definitely have a recipe for captivating audiences of any size and fans of all style! Tours alongside Kerrang! Award nominees 'Ashestoangels' and U.S. Nu-Metal legends 'Trapt', have helped boost the bands profile even further in recent months. They're currently working on their second album with Wearing Scars & ex-Mutiny Within frontman Chris Clancy on production duties, with plans to release in early 2016. Contact: Band, Management & Booking - management@48hoursrock.co.uk Press - hannah@holdtightpr.com Web - www.facebook.com/48hoursrock What the critics have said - Metal Express - "If you’re a fan of Modern Metal/Hard Rock, then Recovery is likely to be a major find for you in 2014" BringTheNoise.co.uk - "With a sound that’s more Kentucky than Kent, it’s probably fair to say that hard rock outfit 48Hours have never quite fitted into their South East London suburban home towns. Their powerful, melodic rock owes a debt to bands such as 3 Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin. Although there’s nothing new in combining crunching riffs with soaring choruses, there are almost no bands doing this in the UK which really makes 48Hours stand out. In the wake of their impressive performance supporting BTN faves Serpico at the Barfly in Camden, the band have announced that they will be releasing a free download single and video – available right now – to keep their burgeoning following occupied while they record their début full length album, due for release in early 2014! Although the choice of Australian softies Savage Garden‘s 1997 smash Truly, Madly, Deeply might seem a little odd, the trio, consisting of Adam Jerome on guitar/vocals, Gary Broughton on bass/vocals and Matt Savini on drums, have done an impressive job making the song their own." ShoutItLoudReviews.com - "Headliners 48 Hours had a fantastic set filled with songs from their album ‘Recovery’ that are just made for the live stage! It really wasn’t very long before the beers were flying and the mosh pits were starting!" - Live Review, Camden Barfly 22/01/14 ShoutItLoudReviews.com - "London rockers 48 Hours turned the night around very quickly with their energetic set that was packed with hard hitting sing along songs and a beat that would have you head bobbing! Oh and let’s not forget the dramatic jump into the crowd from the guitarist that ended the bands set in quite a rock and roll fashion!" Live Review, Camden Barfly 06/08/13 AlternativeVision.co.uk - "Secrets runs for just under 10 minutes and it is 10 minutes of your time that I really recommended giving up for the EP as it a solid hard hitting release. 48Hours have created a solid EP that leaves you on such a high that you are left out crying for more songs" Loud-Stuff.com - "The three tracks on offer here simply aren’t enough, and finishing here and now I’m left thinking that I want to hear more and want to see what’s going to come next. Based on everything, my view is as follows – you want to check these guys out – it’s that simple" ThisIsNotAScene.com - "Secrets is nice, tight, little sample of might be 48Hours future. If these guys keep this up they will be opening up for Theory of A Deadman, making bank, and banging higher quality groupies before they know it. Lucky pricks" RockFreaks.net - "Their “Secrets” EP contains a lot of promise for those who enjoy a sound which borders on nu-metal and certainly should not remain a Secret any longer" Power Play Magazine - "Secrets is a three-track collection of catchy modern metal. 'Hollow' with its solid refrain and the swirling title track show how much enthusiasm this trio have for their music, crafting songs that are memorable" WhisperingAndHollerin.com - "More about power chords than relentless chug, 48Hours demonstrate an awareness of the importance of texture. A promising start" Dead Earnest - "This is a staggering EP by anyone's standards and surely, this band are destined to be huge – simply can't wait for the album.....stunning!!!" Anthemic Hard Rock from London, England, New Album 'Expectations' featuring the single 'Martyr' out now on Itunes, Amazon & Spotify!
