Black Lion.
Based out of Toronto, Canada, Black Lion is an evolving collective of musical talent featuring producer/emcee and founder Rich Lindo as well as other collaborating affiliate artists. JR “Heny” Lindo, and respected Toronto artist "Dukez" have been the primary collaborators in recent years. Black Lion has found success and high acclaim since their debut mixtape Black Lion Presents: The Prodigy and the Architect (2015). Having discovered his passion for music at a young age, Rich was eager to bring together the talents of his friends and others with whom he was linked through shared networks, to create and contribute quality music in Canada’s Hip Hop scene. Rich's musical vision has come to life as Black Lion’s sound is becoming recognized as undeniably versatile, and is rooted in an awareness of relevant current, historical, and emerging global themes and trends.
In Autumn, Black Lion's dedication to their art was highlighted by the release of their debut EP Free Association. The list of collaborators for this release include Grammy-nominated production juggernaut Tone Mason, and soulful Toronto R&B artist Ray Robinson.
