Excellent as always. I would like to see them change the setlist a bit, though. Drop a few of the old ones and add some of the in-between the old and the latest album.

Saxon were amazing. They opened the show on a smaller stage. They played a mixture of old and new. Biff sounds as good as he did 40 years ago. It was great to see them again after all these years.

Great time, great show, but I almost feel like Uriah Heep as the opener outplayed Saxon as the headliner. UH had an awesome connection with the audience and their soloing and improv was so much fun to watch. They enjoyed being there. Saxon was awesome but had nowhere near the energy and connection with the crowd. Thoroughly enjoyed both bands nevertheless!

Saxon is a british heavy metal band, formed in 1976 in Barnsley, Yorkshire. As leading lights in the new wave of British Heavy Metal they had a brief period of UK Top 40 success in the early 1980s, and also tasted success in Europe and japan. They still tour heavily and regularly. Their latest (in support of The Inner Sanctum album) tour is their largest in the UK since the early 1980s. Until this, the band's fame had been focused largely in germany for many years.
