SEAN SMITH & THE SETTING SONS

In 2008 while in Los Angeles recording his 2nd EP Action City, NYC singer-songwriter Sean N Smith booked a last minute show at Hotel Cafe with friends Dave Immergluck (Guitarist Counting Crows) and Chris Seefried (Songwriter, Producer) in tow. He billed the lineup as Sean Smith & The Setting Sons. Since then,The Setting Sons have been a revolving cast of musicians often including Immergluck who also produced the bands 2 EP's Action City and Underachiever as well as 2010's two song holiday single All I Want For Christmas (Is Mine Tonight) / December 24th. Sean writes melodic tales of romance and redemption that reflect daily life in NYC and delivers them with a gritty, soulful voice set against driving acoustic guitars. In 2009 his song Tears In The Rain (Action City) was a semi-finalist in The Uk Songwriting Contest (Adult Contemporary Category and garnished an Honorable Mention in The 17th Annual Billboard World Song Contest. In 2011 the song Satellite (Underachiever) appeared in the indie short film The Dungeon Master.
