The Bottle Rockets

Great show by a great, underrated band! Its6 a crime that these guys aren't huge...

The Rockets were solid state from the very start -a true delight - they played a set of their own, including the Anthem, “ I Love My Dog” then brought in Marshall Crenshaw for the second set. It was like a Rock booster rocket blasting some amazing mega-guitar fireworks. They truly shredded and burned a cover of Richard Thompson’s “Valerie.”

What a great show! Brian Henneman is incredible. I would highly recommend seeing The Bottle Rockets if you get the chance. This was the 3rd time I’ve seen them and they NEVER disappoint (unlike certain other bands whose name might contain Turnpike that don’t show up). Fabulous evening a*s kickin show by the boys from Festus, Missouri.

Rock’in the NEW album.....Bit Logic !! The guys also laid down....”I Love My Dog” !!!

The Bottle Rockets played a great 90 minute set, including every song from their latest album, and lots of their back catalog, and crowd favorites. They closed out the show with a rockin cover of Waylon’s “Are You Sure Hank Done it This way.” Chasers is a pretty good venue - large enough for a decent crowd without being on top of each other, and small enough that you’re pretty close to the band.

Awesome Band, been wanting to see them foe awhile now. Bloodshot Records is stacked with great talent. Turf Club never fails.

Love, love, love the Bottle Rockets! Best country/rock/Americana band in the Midwest...maybe the US. Brian's lyrics are the soundtrack to life, and the band is so tight! These living room shows rock!
