Una nueva formación de viejos conocidos que tienen un amplio bagaje musical que atraviesa los océanos alimentándose de una combinación de diferentes estilos. Cuatro músicos espectaculares que convergen en una mezcla de ritmos eclécticos: Cumbias y pinceladas latinas mexicanas de lo más bailable; ondas de Surf, Jazz, Hip-Hop o Soul en algunos de sus temas, sin olvidar su sólida base de Blues y Funk en la que ellos son una referencia a nivel mundial. Sus experiencias individuales convergen en un proyecto que abarca diferentes géneros y en la que nos muestran lo mejor de la música y cultura tradicional mexicana llena de picarescas situaciones y sonidos cotidianos. LOS MIGHTY CALACAS aderezan su música con la salsa de las enchiladas verdes y gran humor. Con mucho ingenio sobre el escenario, transmiten en un lenguaje también muy visual y teatral toda la autenticidad de los géneros musicales que representan. In 2012, Los Mighty Calacas have released their first album wich features harmonica legend Charlie Musselwhite.
