Facing Infamy

Facing Infamy is a five piece alternative/pop/punk band with a focus on energetic stage performances, strong fan relationships, and a varying array of songs meant to open the minds of all rock enthusiasts. We came together on a fluke, or as we see it, an act of fate, in the summer of 2013 from all walks of life and all sorts of musical backgrounds. The brand of musicians that form this St. Louis band are no stranger to the type of rejection that comes from being kicked out, told we weren't good enough, or given the lack of support from friends and family. Our drive to face the infamous perils of rejection motivated us to create Facing Infamy; a band that stands out in more ways than musical technicality and the mainstream rock scene. Our hard work and dedication has helped us grow by leaps and bounds over the past year and we’ve been able to play with national touring acts such as Silverstein, Escape the Fate, Pop Evil, Avatar, and Glamour of the Kill. We also became finalists in the 2014 Battle for Pointfest; advancing three rounds and ultimately landing a prime spot on the Pop’s stage at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. The pride that we take from being a small St. Louis band who was doubted from the get-go to achieving feats we only dreamed of proves that no matter where you start you should always aim high.
