Dave Britt Music

Dave Britt is a musician from Columbia, SC that has been producing independent albums and touring the Southeast for some time now. In 2016, Britt released his 5th independent album“Burning in the Afterglow” which has been received with very positive critical review during his live show and through numerous online music publications. For example, Free Times stated,“These 10 meticulously layered tunes boast undeniably catchy choruses and solid playing.” South Carolina Music Guide commented, “Wonderfully crafted with layered production quality, this album sparkles with subtle nuances of studio creativity.” Having toured extensively in the Southeast, Britt has gained increased recognition in the clubs and festivals of the region. Be it as a solo artist or in his Americana project, Ashes of Old Ways, Britt is met with continuous positive review from critics and audiences alike. No More Division stated, “Burning In The Afterglow is a good album all the way through with some really great songs. Overall the album feels cohesive yet varied. Britt really does a great job making the album feel like a ride. Recommended.” Britt is a student of Berklee College of Music Online and in the Fall of 2016 was awarded a scholarship by the Christopher Conner Foundation. 2016 also brought about the formation of Britt’s own record label, Solid Entertainment Records, to facilitate the release of the album.
